Strengths-Based Development

Strengths-Based Development

Creating a culture where individuals and teams do what they do best everyday!

Overview

According to Gallup, only 32% of employees who work for organizations are engaged… and 17% are actively disengaged*.  That means that 17% of staff is working to sabotage the work that the rest of the organization is creating!

The philosophy around Strengths-based Development is to consider what individuals already do well with and find ways to increase their opportunities to do more of it. Don Clifton, Ph.D. asked “what would happen if we focused on what was right with people, rather than focusing on what was wrong with them?”  People have innate talents that with focus and practice they grow into Strengths and when people are using their Strengths, they are more effective, efficient and productive.

Ready Aim → Impact offers multiple ways to increase engagement through Strengths tools and resources.  Our philosophy is to enable individuals with the knowledge of where they excel and then provide the opportunity for them to perform to the best of their abilities.

  • Individuals will learn their Top Themes and how to foster them to increase their effectiveness.
  • People Managers will learn how to lead others to ensure they perform their best every day AND learn how they can utilize their Top Themes to excel as a manager.
  • Strategic Leaders will learn how their Top Themes can help them be more instrumental at creating vision and strategy for an organization/team
  • Teams/Organizations will learn to appreciate one another and find ways to leverage their Strengths to achieve maximum results.
